Mestariprojekti

The need to build is inherent in humans. The desire to create a nest, a room, a house, a home, or a cabin is embedded in us. The attraction to building is rooted in the philosophy of renewal and development, and in the need and desire to create something. My spark and passion for building are based on a deeper purpose and the human need to achieve something meaningful. Mestariprojekti's goal is to be continuously involved in this meaningful pursuit and to approach every project as if it were our own, aiming for a masterful result. 

For Mestariprojekti, a good builder signifies dedication and the desire to develop oneself throughout one's professional career. I grew up as a carpenter and later trained as an expert, under the guidance of multi-generational professional experience and through the stages of the master-apprentice model. It is valuable in life to be able to share and help. The golden core of Mestariprojekti is to enable and assist in building, as well as to coach and guide in the construction industry. Mestariprojekti was born from me, my vision, and my passion for building, and from the inherited desire to create something meaningful in life.  

Through my carpentry experience and expert training, a desire grew to teach and share my professional skills. Through my teaching studies, I gained the best possible skills and pedagogical methods to share my expertise with future construction professionals. Growing up in an entrepreneurial family, entrepreneurship is close to my heart. That is why I established a sole proprietorship, working part-time as a construction expert alongside my teaching job from 2004 to 2021, after which Mestariprojekti was born on February 12, 2021. 

My nearly 30 years of practical construction experience, along with my studies in construction management and engineering, have taught me what good and safe construction is like. My services as an active reservist, various levels of training, and project management have provided me with valuable lessons in entrepreneurship. My desire to influence and develop society also led to trusted positions in both the municipal council and the church council. Mestariprojekti represents me and my values. Whether it is a small or large project, I want to carry them out as if they were my own, to last for generations and to respect our precious nature.
